We started “brushing” his gums at 4 months old. Just to get him used to it. We used the little rubber finger cover to rub his gums with baby toothpaste. It felt good on his gums, tasted good, and got him ready for an actual toothbrush. As soon as he had a few teeth, we switched to a baby toothbrush,

both my kids where also 12 months old when both first tried peanut butter i also spoke to my doctor about it and was told the same thing 12 months old same with eggs its good to also try out eggs at 12 months too to see if they can handle them too and if they do they are able to have the flu shot … love ya vid girl and congrats on The Doctor’s tv show .. ya be sexy in ya PJ’s girl haha .. hope to see it air here in australia .take care and kisses to Trippy

I was told not to give my daughter PB until 2 so I had to wait forEVER, but I will be giving my son PB when he turns 1 (which, he’s only 7 weeks now, haha). PB is such an easy & healthy lunch/snack! You’re doing a great job momma!
No! You didn’t at all!! Sorry if I sounded rude through my comment. Maybe some doctors say that you need to wait until kids are 2 to give them peanut butter, but no doctor I’ve ever known has. And every book I’ve read agrees with any doctors I’ve talked to. That’s all I meant by that. I wouldn’t ever put my son in danger!
Lora, I really hope I didn’t offend you as that was not my intention. I love watching you and your family! I guess I missed where you said “if I’m allowed to” and I just didn’t want you to get in trouble with YouTube unintentionally. As far as peanut butter goes, I had only ever heard 2 years old as both a Birth to Three Special Education Teacher and as “Auntie Mindy” to my 5-year-old nephew and 3-year-old niece. Maybe the pediatricians in CT feel differently or it’s been changed recently.

Sorry y’all, but I’m with multiple DOCTORS on this one. Just like I had peanut butter at one year, so did all my friend’s babies, all my family’s babies, and so did Tripp. He’s been eating peanut butter for a month now and he’s obviously NOT allergic. I know what I’m doing. But thanks.

That is exciting about possibly being on TV. Audrey did not like cows milk when we 1st gave it to her. She would only drink it from a cup not her sippy cup though. Finally after she drank some from a regular cup I sat down on front of her and poured the milk into her sippy cup and gave it to her. Ever since she LOVES milk!! Kids are so funny! Never thought about mixing it with formula! Maybe we will try that with this next baby!!
