First look at Gaming on the iPad – pixel doubling of iPhone apps31 Jan
The ipad has a 9.7 inch, 1024 X 768 (132 ppi) screen vs. the iphone 3.5 inch 480 X 320 (163 ppi) screen. In order for iphone games to run in full screen mode, the pixels can be doubled. This causes it to blur a bit, but works to fill the entire screen.
