30 day challenge, Make an iphone game, day 1 LEUVSION03 Jun
Welcome to the first part in my 30 day challenge to make an iphone game to launch on the app store, with NO knowledge of Mac’s, mac OS and more importantly no prior knowledge of C or Objective-C for that matter, or cocoa or…the list goes on, so the challenge is to learn everything i need to do and do it, let alone come up with a good game idea, create graphics, sounds, music and so on, and you can try it yourself on your own iPhone after the challenge, wish me luck!…

at 10 i knew html, pascal and some C++ and was writing macros for mmorpgs in pascall….

lol i know html xhtml css and the other is really easy…. but im lost in C+ how can u learn that.?
hmm i always thought (x)html and css where programming languages, meh its still something close to it lol and i dont want to learn c because im scared ill get in bad habits for C++

First off. Congratulations. Now that we’re past that. Only two of the things you mentioned were actually programing languages. (x)html is a markup language, and Css is a presentation language. I suggest going back, learning, mastering C (Without a user interface), then move on to C++ again, then get into a user interface. You’ll master the language, rather than just have an understanding of it. Just a suggestion. (Coming from a 15 (programming) year old)

i plan on learning java soon and gonna try some C++ with interface builder incorporated into it, ive never known how to make UI with C++ apart from gd ol’ coding lol which i cba to do because im used to using the visual studio ide lol sooo much better than xcode 
(no offence apple but they have sql access code and linking tables and stuff lol ) but i only do that on my dads desktop which is annoying

Making Iphone games is much more simple using a 3d game engine such as Shiva3d or Unity3d. Both can publish to iphone,mac,windows,web, wii, and soon to come the ps3 and xbox360.
Me and a friend started that challenge like 10 days ago, dont get discouraged, this a very exciting project…….I got a Macbook, the same book you have and we are programming on Objective C, for windows and mac (Gcc compiler) I program by day and also after 12:00am at night just to achieve this goal.
