PSP vs Nintendo DS vs iTouch/iPhone (FPS games) PART 326 Feb
3 different devices… 2 portable gaming devices and the other, some kind of pseudo portable console with multimedia functions… FPS games is a trendy video game genre right now and those types of games is also available in portable consoles, but the controls are different to systems like the Xbox 360, PS3 or the PC… is difficult to translate that playability to portable devices. The PSP fares more o less acceptable, but you will miss a second analog stick . The Nintendo DS in FPS games is good and precise thanks to the touch screen and the STYLUS (The graphics well… not that much) and the idevices… ummm strange but somehow acceptable controls, at the beginning you will find the controls confusing but you will get used to it in 15 min.

im a psp lover but mw for ds looks better than mh for psp but he should compare ftb2 or ftb3

I’ve never heard that? Isn’t it exacly the same 600MHz processor as in the iPhone 3GS, only that it’s upgraded a bit?

And the ipod touches have diff proccesor speeds. The 3rd has the highest.
The first gen is the lowest but has still been clocked at 600mhz

It is that bad.. The games are HORRIBLE.. And the batteyr life is even worse! Why play a 3D game when it only lasts your 2 hours? Why not just play a 2D games that can last you 15 hours? (GBA’s battery life). LOL.. Or maybe a EVEN BETTER 3D game that lasts you 14 hours? THE IPOD FAILS AS A GAMING SYSTEM!

Wat do u mean more for the millions ? I hav alot of games that are great. Nova except the hackers in it. Modern combat. Terminator. Brothers in arms. And the second one thats coming out will rape!

Ipod touch 1st gen= 546mhz
2nd gen= 600mhz
3rd= 666mhz
And that says alot about gaming! Ill upload some great games for idevices to show
@Tretboot5 PSP is good, but not really good experience of FPS… CPU FPSis like DS FPS, cause of the touchscreen. Though, i still agree with u on the psp… it’s graphics are still nicer.
Yes, it in fact is a good idea.. But you should simply no that the ipod will never be comparable to the PSP nor DS.. But it is quite fun to see videos comparing them, even though it is obvious which ones look better.

gtas123: Well… as much you try to put the iPhone – iTouch in some kind of massive failure like the Virtual Boy, but the fact is that the games in app store is just growing and growing and apple profits grows too thanks to the apps, you can’t even denied… you can find the info in any tech news on the net. BTW i’m not apple fanboy i don’t like some of their products like the ultra expensive Mac computers but the app store is just a good idea…
the original DS is the best portable system to play outdoors with the sun out because you can turn off the back light and the sun can let u see well and with turning off the backlight it means more power saving and more hours
ipod touch is better than the ds, but psp is still the best!

It has the best FPS controls on iPod Touch / iPhone. Also look at how COD Zombies tilt controls are implemented for FPS.

gtas123: I understand that the iDevices from apple is a weird choice for gaming, but i just make those videos because i hear comments and watch so many people using the iPhone – iTouch for this purpose… so i make those videos to let people to decide which device it’s more appropriate for their own needs.
