@daking594 (part 5), Even though many have already stopped playing “EA Madden 10,” since the Superbowl is coming up (Colts. vs Saints), a few might put in “EA Madden 10″ just to play with the Colts and Saints.
@daking594 (part 4) It’s still a fun game to look at visually. I mean it’s still a playable game if you don’t care about the “CPU advantages”, In addition, if you look at the sales figure of “EA Madden,” it has been steadily declining over the past recent years.
@daking594 (part 3), But the KEY thing people want is better GAMEPLAY. If you really analyze the game and take a look at how players react on the field in “EA Madden 10,” you should be able to see the flawed blocking mechanism, the poor pursuit angles that defenders make. Somethings the football would go through a receiver’s body, etc. This does not mean it happens on every single play, but it does happen enough that people are not happy.
@daking594 (part 2), You’ll notice that in “EA Madden 10,” a lot of the presentation, football atmosphere is essentially what has already been done in NFL 2K5.
Recent “EA Madden” titles have always been compared to NFL 2K5 because most people see NFL 2K5 as the standard. NFL 2K5 is believed to be the best football game ever made.
@daking594 (part 1), A lot of people are saying that it is indeed bad. Many have actually stopped playing within weeks (e.g. 2 weeks, 3 weeks) of its release. It was fun for a while, but I don’t play it anymore.
However, there are a smaller percentage of people who believes “EA Madden” has made tremendous strides in the right direction. I’ll give them some credit. Visually, “EA Madden” is nicely done even though the animation itself could be better.

@daking594 (Part 2) There have been lots of complaints about “EA Madden” ever since 2006. Although 2010 made improvements, people are finally realizing that even though Madden looks better, the gameplay is broken and growing stale. A lot of people have already decided NOT to buy Madden 11.
@daking594 (Part 1), That’s basically what a lot of people are starting to realize with the “EA Madden” series.
There are those that simply don’t care too much about the added CPU’s “ability.” They simply think it’s “fun” even if the CPU has the advantage. The CPU can still certainly be beaten though.

@daking594, Although more challenging on “all madden,” realize that the reason it’s much more difficult is b/c it “seems” more difficult.
Meaning, there are things the CPU does that defies real football. It doesn’t happen always, but it does happen: Your offensive linesman don’t properly block, allowing the defensive linesman easy access to the quarterback for a sack. The defensive backs basically know the route that your receiver runs even before your receiver runs his entire route. And etc.
